Description
The Romeo y Julieta marque was established in 1875 by Inocencio Alvarez and Manin García. The brand is the Spanish name for Shakespeare’s famous tragedy, Romeo and Juliet. Between 1885 and 1900, the brand won numerous awards at different tasting exhibitions (as still evidenced by the gold medals on the brand’s logo).
Cigarillos are smaller versions of cigars, typically ranging from 3 to 5 inches in length, and are wrapped in tobacco leaves. They are generally considered an alternative to larger cigars, offering a shorter smoking experience and sometimes a more accessible price point. While often associated with cigars, their size and sometimes the use of filtered tips blur the line between cigars and cigarettes.
